Dr Jessica Kasza was recently welcomed as President of the Statistical Society of Australia, for a two-year term. The SSA is the home for statisticians working in Australia, and represents statisticians involved in the entire spectrum of statistical work: from the development of theory, to the application of methods, to the development of statistical software, to the communication of statistics, and everything in between. Jessica is looking forward to continuing to develop the SSA as a welcoming, open, diverse and inclusive society.
