Karen Lamb awarded Statistical Society of Australia Service Award
Karen Lamb was today awarded the SSA Service Award at the 2023 Australian Statistical Conference. Karen was appointed co-chair of the ASC2023 Scientific Program Committee (jointly with David Price) in 2022 and the stellar range of presentations across the week is testamount to her dedication to the event, the SSA, and the biostatistics community more broadly.
Karen has served the SSA since 2018, in a variety of roles including Co-Chair of the Society’s Biostatistics & Bioinformatics Section, the Local Organising Committee of the Society’s Australian Statistical Conference in 2018, and establishing the Society’s Mentoring Program.
