The ACTA Statistics in Trials Interest Group (ACTA STInG) consists of a group of statisticians and clinicians with an interest in statistics who work in clinical trials across Australia and who wish to promote the practice and recognition of the importance of statistics and the profession within clinical trials. A/Prof. Katherine Lee from ViCBiostat is the founder and chair of the Executive Committee of ACTA-STInG, and Sabine Braat, an affiliated member of ViCBiostat, is also a member of the ACTA-STInG Executive Committee.

The ACTA STInG was officially launched in October 2015 at the first ACTA annual conference.
